Transmitting information of various nature through drawing is an activity that develops in a process of simultaneous knowledge. Design is a natural gesture that interprets concepts through signs. Decodes complexity. It is also one of the favorite activities we privilege according to the needs that are required in the communication project.
We work with static or animated illustrations. We build stories through the writing of ideas and story boards that we complete until the final realization.
Italian gestures
In Italy, gestality completes the expressive language of speech.
The illustrations here relate to a study about the typical Italian expression of the use of gestures. Hands become the protagonist instrument that attends the verbal conversation and qualifies it. In the search for direct signs and quotations, we thought of the Neapolitan playng cards and its decorative elements, which still recall the colorful lively tones of dialectal language, combining with a delicate aesthetics.

Trasmettere informazioni di varia natura attraverso il disegno è un’ attività che si sviluppa in un processo di simultanea conoscenza. Il disegno è un gesto naturale che interpreta concetti attraverso segni. Decodifica la complessità. E’ anche una delle attività preferite che privilegiamo secondo le necessità che ci vengono richieste nel progetto di comunicazione.
Elaborariamo illustrazioni statiche o animate. Costruiamo storie attraverso la stesura di idee e story board che completiamo fino alla realizzazione finale.

In Italia la gestalità completa la qualità espressiva del linguaggio.
Le illustrazioni qui si riferiscono ad uno studio intorno alla qualità espressiva tipicamente italiana dell’ uso dei gesti. Le mani diventano lo strumento che accompagna il discorso verbale e lo caratterizza. Nella ricerca di segni diretti e citazioni abbiamo pensato alle carte napoletane e ai suoi elementi decorativi, che richiamano comunque i toni coloriti del linguaggio dialettale, combinandosi con un’ estetica del tratto pìù delicata.
